Description

Giannini GENWPA The Clássico is indicated for those who appreciate a pure and crystalline sound in their instrument with nylon string. Coated with Bronze 65/35, the Giannini Clássico GENWPA is the best for those who like strings with a heavy tension. All Giannini strings are produced at their factory in São Paulo, Brazil. Differences between Clássico and Titanium series The difference between the Classic and Titanium series is basically in the materials used (the monofilament plain treble strings, and the Bronze-coated low strings), which affect the sound in each series: Cristal Nylon (Clássico series) - Treble strings (strings 1, 2 and 3) Medium tenacity nylon monofilament, closely associated with the classic sound of the nylon guitar. It produces a sound with balanced brightness, great definition and good sustain. Appreciated for recordings thanks to its tonal stability and tone balance. In both the Classic and Titanium series, the low strings (strings 4, 5 and 6) are silver, with nylon filament (internal) and visually similar. In the Classic Series, covering the nylon filament we have Bronze 65/35 (alloy of 65% Copper and 35% Zinc and a small layer of Silver), which produces a sound with a highlighted shine (much appreciated by musicians who use the strumming style, but with a softer grip than the 85/15 Bronze found in the Titanium Series. According to Giannini, the Clássico strings have a balanced tone, with great definition and good sustain, which would correspond to the expectations of those who want a more “traditional” sound from a classical guitar.
