This beautiful, lightly used, flawless Giannini AWN 61 Classical guitar features a clear, resonant tone, responsive action and stunning rosewood construction. It plays with the practiced ease of a Joao Gilberto bossa nova melody, measured accompaniment embellished by simple, understated chords and poignant lyrics. My playing does not do it justice! Dating from the late 1970's and lovingly cared for, the guitar has been recently (September 2024) retuned, strung (w/Ernesto Palla ball-end nylon strings), bridge adjusted and body polished at the Highland Park, Illinois Guitar Center. It comes with a new Gator Acoustic TPV2 soft case and a spare set of D'Addrio nylon strings, straight (not ball-end). Whether you're adding to a collection of rare, vintage or Brazilian guitars, or want to teach or learn (or both!) traditional bossa stylings, this guitar is perfect for players at every skill level.
