Description

For sale is a Pimentel classical guitar model 002 which dates to April 1978 as shown on the label. Pimentel makes wonderful guitars and they are a family owned US company based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. They have a rich history so check out their website. This guitar is a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. A rosewood fretboard has dot indicators on the side and the rosewood bridge has a tie block with nice inlaid detail. The rosette is pleasing to the eye and this guitar sounds very nice. The Gotoh 39 mm tuners are brand new and work great. Overall this guitar is in good shape and is great for a beginner. Some repairs have been done and I don’t know all the history but there were some dings on the side and a crack on the back that have been repaired and they are stable. This is a nice American made classical and is a nice step up from some of the new guitars you might see in a store. It’s an antique guitar (over 46 years old) but it has a nice touch. Comes with a hard shell case in decent condition. The case is missing one of the buttons on the back but overall is nice.
